Our company has started an organic production certified by organic monitoring organizations accredited for issuing conformity certificates. In addition to compliance with the specification expected for organic agriculture. Measures have already been implemented aimed at the greatest respect for the environment. The ground is left covered with grass, both to reduce the risk of natural erosion due to rains and consequent landslides and to return important nutrients to the soil, through periodic mowing. We have kept a large grove of acacias, mulberry and other varieties of trees to ensure the proliferation of animal species and pests that feed on the olive trees. The cuttings from pruning are left on the ground and crushed into the soil, to return valuable elements to the terrain in the form of a natural manure. To facilitate the harvest of olives, we bought a facilitator mechanical comb but with lithium battery, just to maintain the utmost respect for the environment during this phase.
